HTML Title

In this tutorial, you will learn about HTML title tags. There are six title tags are there for formating web page content. Every web page contains HTML heading Tags such as <h1> to <h6>.

HTML title

<h1> is the largest title and <h6> is the smallest title. HTML head tags are important to define heading to the content. Words between <h1> and </h1> are a main heading of web page. HTML has six “levels” of headings which are given below.

<h1>This is main a heading</h1>
<h2>This is a sub heading</h2>
<h3>This is sub heading</h3>

<h6>This is a heading</h6>

Note:- Browsers display the content of headings at different sizes. You can modify the size of the heading by using HTML tags in their browser. The default web browsers will automatically adjust the font size, style, color, etc.

Importance of Title

Don’t forget to give a title to the web page by using above listed heading tags. By default, browsers display headings in larger and bolder font than normal text.

HTML horizontal line

The <hr /> tag in HTML stands for horizontal line and it is used to insert a horizontal rule to the particular line to separate.

<hr /> tag is empty that means don’t have to use the closing date in between content. you can change properties of <hr /> tag by using various attributes like size, width, no shade, align, etc.

HTML Comments

You can put comments into HTML pages to describe the page itself or to provide some kind of indication of the status of the page. You can’t see comments on computer screen. HTML comments will appear in the Source code file only. The following paragraph will describe comments.

<!-- This is a comment --> <p> here are some examples</p>
